Generations created a family business with class.

The foundation stone for our vineyard was laid by our beloved (great) grandfather, who had become the communal innkeeper. In the 1960’s, Dr. Franz L. Foltin the head of the household, took over the winery. Since 1995 his son, Mag. Franz Johann, is responsible for wine production.

Our boss, by now a qualified tourism expert, led the company in two successive years to gold (Armante 2004 & 2005) and silver medals (Armante 2003, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc) at the AWCvienna (2006, 2007) and to awards at the Falstaff tastings.

For us, quality has the highest priority. The strict selection of grapes, biodynamic plant protection and quality-orientated harvests produces wine of the highest standard: trendy, refreshing white wines with rounded fruity notes, as well as strong red wines with lots of body, all of which provide real drinking enjoyment.
